Sorry, the cropping on this video was sort of weird! Anyway, I’d love to hear everyone else’s opinions on Madoka Magica in the forums! I want to talk about it some more but only under the safety of spoiler tags.

If I ever buy this series, I’ll watch it once to see how good the dub is in comparison and then I’ll send it off. My reason being that the dark and anxious atmosophere is simply too much for me (for a third time) and yet I must do my part to let this series succeed commercially.
Like with Ark’s review, I find that there’s something so misleading about describing or, at least, summarising this show as being a Mahou Shojo deconstruction. The show could be described (maybe not as well, I’m not the reviewer here) as a psychological fantasy or a character study but I concede that both are aimed at Mahou Shojo tropes, hence the label of deconstruction.
Bottom line: A good review, I hope it entices others to watch the show.
Bottom-er line: I am SO~ going to get myself a pair of those Goggles!
