I think everybody knew that.

This is going to sound like a horrible thing, but if I was mafia, I would have just thrown him under the bus from the start and earn civilian points for the team.

Which would've resulted in another one of my team getting killed and disabled my power right out the gate.

Brilliant strategy.

*Shrugs*

For me, having him in the long run would have not helped. There's a difference between lurking and at least trying, from not trying at all. That's just me though.

This attitude annoys the doodoo out of me.

So many of you guys just act like sheep. Contribute and question, no matter who you are.

But then I'm an arrogant asshole. D:

/tangent

Also, you guys sure seem to underestimate Mex too much.

I was skimming along.

SPOONED GAME REVIEW!

GROUPS

Civilians B+
Spoiler: show
Overall, we did fairly well, and we pulled out a win from what was/could've been a shaky situation. Our biggest detriment was the inactivity from a lot of our players, simply getting browbeat into submission, but thanks to a few we pulled through, woot!

Mafia B
Spoiler: show
For the most part you guys played a pretty good game, though a few of you were a bit on the easy side to read. You guys stuck out til the end and made some good calls and kills, keeping the civilians on their toes, so nice work!

Clique B-
Spoiler: show
You guys did what you could. Unfortunately were the main target for a lot of the game (outside of those mafia that got smoked out/investigated). Had things gone a bit differently I think you could've easily had a win!

PLAYERS

Spoiler: show
AbramsX A-
You guys luckily got to see me in good form, lol. Also, I managed to keep the tradition alive by not having survived a SINGLE Mafia game ever! Woot! (lol). I'd like to think i was doing something right with fairly spot on scum hunting and calls, especially in votes. However, I recgonize that myself alone wouldn't have been ael to lead the town to victory, especially with intermittent inactivity (30% Role, 30& "forum newbishness", and 40% RL stuff).

Adamis988 A
Civilian Runner-Up - You hung on til the end and help gain a nice victory for the town! While not the strongest player you still helped contribute, so well done!

BrandonL337 C+
Easily one of the most active players, which is a good thing, especially for a Mafioso (lurking when you are scum or have a power role is bad). While the "obvious" clues had a lot to do with your downfall, it still was in, no small part, partly your play style. Especially at the end you dug your own hole deeper when you tried to unsuccessfully shift suspicion around and became a bit over defensive. But again, wasn't much you could do in your situation, so live and learn.

DarkSide B
Always one of the "lead players". Had you not got offed early on I would've had some trouble suspecting you I think, but (fortunately) you did. Your early direction, however still had some effect on the later game, especially with taking out Cop (even if it hadn't been for that reason), made the game that much harder for us civilians. Nice work.

Dragonlord7 C+
you fell somewhere in the middle of the spectrum. I was never sure if you were scum, but couldn't bring myself to believe you were clean either. Unfortunately that turned you into a scape goat to become the focus in a bad way (or good for the scum players, lol). At the least you were active and participated, so nice job.

Durga B-
If it hadn't been for a few small things pointed out by others, I don't think I would have suspected you as scum, lol (maybe I have a soft spot for someone who shares an appreciation for Super Sentai :P ) Even when you were investigated, you maintained composure and coolness in the thread, and didn't crack under pressure, when many scum players Iknow would've likely self destructed in some fashion, spoiling the game. Well done!

jam64 C+
you were more active then most of the lurkers, but not enough to have really impacted the game. I've seen you play in games where you made an impact, and are a decent player. Be cool to see you step up again.

Johnny B
One of my favorite players to play with :P You helped the rest of the civilians with your first investigation hitting a Mafia, and frankly if that hadn't happened and got the ball rolling, I don't think the Civvys would've won this game, so thank you, sir.

Luna1212 C+
You play better then you gvie yourself credit for. Your biggest flaw, imo, was having attacked Mex in the manner you did, and you "demeanor" in game. You were much more aggressive then defensive, and like Brandon, attempted to pawn off suspicion on you off onto other players, instead of accepting it. That's what made lead me to you as scum more so then even the clues. Even then, you didn;t do anything to outlandish, and maintined mostly composed til the end, so good job.

lunar_shadow C-
sigh... I still don't understand why you role claimed  Let this be a lesson above all else; no matter the role, make sure you ALWAYS read and comprehend EVERYTHING in the discussion and story before making any drastic plays (like roleclaiming :P ). Had you done so, you would've realized that you were in the clear, and could've probably slid on by mostly safe for at least a few phases, if not til the end of the game. Even if you don't have a "team" to rely on, you can always ask general questions in the thread. Also, never fall to panick, take it in stride. I look forward to seeing you next game.

mcfluffypants D+
So very inactive... Though I'm not sure more activity would've helped your team's chances, it certainly wouldn;t have hurt, even if EVERYTHING you post would've been "scripted" for you. I'd like to see you in a game and try that much harder to play :)

MexicanAnime A+
Civilian/MVP of the Game - By far the best game I have ever seen you play, my friend. Held nothing back, and nearly solely led our civilian tea to victory. I shudder to think of what would've happened if you had gotten whacked at all in the game. Well done sir, well done!

monopoly59 D+
I... just don't remember any of your posts. Nothing made any contributions or impacts. At the least you "played" until the end and helped our team achieve victory. however, I'd like to see you post more and be more active. Make a real impact!

NirvashNerd F
You idle'd out and got Mod killed :| Same with Monopoly, I don't remember anything you posted. You contributed nothing to the game and just died... a real shame.

NoOne B-
Yes, you died first lynch. Not the first time it's happened to a newbie. you at least were active while alive, and stuck it out til the end, not comprimising yourself or doing anything crazy or destructive to your team (even though in your case a role claim would've been beneficial). As well, you continued to follow and learn, which is best for a new player to do. I look forward to seeing you next game.

Ratmn B+
You stuck out to me quite a bit with your behaviour, but as I understand that is how you "usually play". You were active and hung on for quite a while despite, and had some good calls and kept cool til the end, so props. Frankly with a bit less spam and more "sluething" I think you could make a really great player. Let see this happen :P

RogerMcSexington A
Scum of the Game - You sir, were an enigma. As I pointed out, while you did some "little things" that stuck out to me as very scummy, you palyed well enough that I honestly would not have pushed for your lynch. You also did a good job leading your team even when it became likely you would not be able to win this game. Great job and I definitely look forward to playing with you in future games!

TCTriangle B-
You frankly would've been lynched, it was just a matter of time. You're game picked up after you were recruited into the Cligue, but before then you were one of the bigger "scape goats". You still did pretty good and were active, and have lots of room for improvement, so keep at it ;)

MOD(S) & GAME

Spoiler: show
Story A
This was an incredible story, reminded me a bit of the "Manhunt" games from Rockstar. Not entirely sure why outside of the theme, lol. Was always a good read and helped puch the game alongm always leaving me anticipating the next chapter. Great Job!

Rules & Gameplay B
Outside of the "clues" wonkyness and the role mistake, this game was well put together and pretty balanced, as well as pretty simple with just enough extra flavor to make it unique. Kept a great unbias (which is really something I like to see from Moderators) but still helped players when needed.

Overall B+
A great game over all, and 2 awesome mods :) As I said, the only real problem would be to work on a balance and quality of some of the clues, as the "golden rule" is; you should never be able to "google" a passage and find a clue from it. But besides that, I look forward to any games either of you may host in the future. Keep up the great work!

So if you can't tell from above, I'll be here for a bit, especially the next game. Your all a cool bunch of peeps and fun to play with. I promise to be a bit more active (RL things permitting) and be sure to get myself whacked/lynched more quickly in the future  I look forward to playing the next game with you. Cheers!~

I have the day off so I'll start the sign ups for round ten later today.

There will be a prologue, so please read the TL;DR of that if you're going to mod a game in the future. Trust me on this.

So the people and the moderators involved can improve for future games, so he helps out with advice and grades them to see where you generally are. It's one of the things that I love about SA players.

At least he was actually semi-active. The round when I was Mafia boss, 2 of my members were mod-killed due to inactivity. We basically would have had the game in the bag otherwise.
