As a kid I loved this movie but as a kid I liked almost everything I saw because I was a very easy to please child. And about the Angelia Anaconda skit in the beginning I rather enjoyed it because I liked the original show as well. Im surprised they left out the part where Wargreymon and Metalgarurumon combined since that was a big part of the movie and the way it happened was completely stupid. But I guess if they talked about everything that was stupid the review would be much longer.

Also Our War Game (the second part) was the best part of that movie and my fanboyism will fight any one who disagrees.

They were supposed to be all just in May. But things didn't quite pan out as such, I guess.

JO rambles a ton, so more causal reviews for here didn't equal Doug's four minute Disney reviews so much as twenty minute examinations.

I'm with Plot here. JO isn't that good of a reviewer honestly. I'd say that of all the anime reviewers on TGWTG, she is one of the less entertaining ones.

YRoT/RolloT > Sage > Masako > Suede > JO

you argue that because she is being critical, she doesn't need to insert jokes into it, but Sage manages to be informative and entertaining, as do YRoT and rolloT in WMR.

I enjoyed the review, but some parts annoyed me... like the crying about the Tai/Sora thing-- I SWEAR TO GOD PEOPLE, TAI WAS CHEERING SORA TO GO ON IN THE ACTUAL TRANSLATION! STOP CRYING!

I don't watch JO to be entertained, I watch because she's by far the most informative reviewer on the site. I watch all those other guys strictly for opinion and funnies, that's not why I watch JO. She's the most critic like on the site and that's refreshing, especially since she goes so much into detail. She can be funny but that's never been the focus. On top of that, she usually goes into larger ideas and views than everyone you listed.

Film Brain, Spoony on the Ultima series, Linkara on the power rangers series, Sage in nearly all of his reviews, oh and lets not forget the fact that the amount of detail RolloT and YRoT do for their weekly series that they cover far surpasses the amount that JO does in any of her major videos. Being informative in a video review is not an excuse to not be entertaining. If you want that, stick to text.

Arkada also goes into detail with his videos, but he is many times the reviewer that JO is.

Even then, she still tries to be entertaining, but often just kind of comes off as 'Gaia-ish,' so to speak. she should just be like jii-san and focus entirely on analysis.

I don't know what you guys are talking about, her style hasn't changed much in my opinion. The only think I have issue with from her works, while petty and nitpicky, were analysis of the Fireflies in her Miyazki and Gainax videos and her Battleship VLOG in the appropriate military term for the vehicles in there (That was not a bomber, that was a Multi-role aircraft fighter that plays the duel role of fighter-bomber Liek teh GErman Focke Wulf 190 when it was able to provide fighter cover and be able to take over the role of the Stuka when needed).

Heck I enjoyed this review on how she and Doug bounced off each other. But hey, we're all people wired up differently that I have to ask, "what is the point of fighting over something that really deals in human tastes and differences of preferences and personalities?" I see no reason to start a flame war over people's different opinions on what they like and dislike about a reviewer because people's tastes change.

Now if you don't mind, I'm going back to being absent on this site and listen to more history documentaries on WWII in the Pacific Front, and find some more American Civil War documentaries.
