Kay guys, I'm trying to make the forums as compact and un-cluttered as possible, but I need your help.

I still need to discuss this all with the Brigade once the holiday season stops ruining our schedules, but here's my thoughts on how the forums can change:

If there's any board you don't see here that you absolutely CANNOT live without, please let me know! Or if you think sub-forums are stupid, etc. etc. etc. I just want to keep things as simple as possible, and since we're aiming to get Site 3.5 up by the end of January, now is the best time to start figuring out what changes need to be made to the forums.

So all of the community Corner stuff will be moved over to The Fans I presumed?

Also I'm kind of sad that there will no longer be a music board but I guess it was unneeded.

I would like to for to stay:

And for the sub forums for "The Fans"
Will that also include the Community Corner?

Pretty much, yeah. And I'd move everything for you guys when I combine / change up the boards.

Music can always be discussed in everything else, just it's not as popular as the other boards. =/

There was also a discussion about making a traditional games board in feedback. I could just turn "Video Games" into "Games" in general if that's the case, but only if there's a DYING need for the combination for more than like, four people.

Also forgot to add it up there but there will be an "Archives" Board as always for old posts.

If you guys are super for keeping the music board, get a lot of people to post on here saying they want to keep it.

Community Corner posts would go inside the fans board.

On further thought, the music board really only has 2 active post. So it would be a smarter solution to take it off. It's still sad to see it go

I'm pretty much okay with these changes, since I just check for new posts.

Turning Video Games into Games isn't a bad idea. The Warhammer thread is already rather active and since I just introduced Mafia, a non-spammy forum game, we can use that section to play there. Maybe make a subsection for Games called Games in Progress.

A General Entertainment section can be used to combine books, TV, writing, music, ect. That could benefit from a sub-section where we share personal works that's we're not trying to plug like a review or something but instead just trying to discuss with our pears. That could be called "Artist Lounge."

What do you think of that? :O I want to try and keep fans' personal projects and things pertaining to them in the Fans board.

That looks great, we just need a section to post our contact information, like we have in that gaming subform right now. It's not a gaming only thing though, so it should be in a more general area.
