I say keep the forums alive. I dunno if I sound selfish, but newcomers like me have experience the Bukkit for a week and starting to feel like family here is the main reason why we want the forums to stay.

I say give the forums to the people who are trustworthy of keeping it alive, and not sending it straight to hell in a handbasket.

The more people who heard of "Teh Bukkit", the better!

It's always sad to see something you've invested in and care about comes to an end. I went through something similar with my TrekOnline site some years back. Basically the same thing happened - the members didn't have as much time anymore and everyone just kind of moved apart. I've kind of limped along on my own with SciFi-Online, so I know what that's like, too. For what it's worth, although I'm not nearly as active as a lot of the other users on here, I enjoyed what you guys were able to do for as long as you could.

As far as the forum, it seems like you still have a fairly active community here. It's not real big, but that's a good thing IMO, so if you guys don't have the time to continue being Admins, I think you ought to consider giving someone else Admin powers, even if you retain ownership of the board itself.

If you guys decide you want to do away with the board, that's sad, but I'd understand. I have a board myself that I could dust off and offer as a place to go, but to be perfectly honest I'd have the same problem with not having enough time to devote to it. I hope everything works out for everyone in any case. As Captain Tylor said, "Just do your best, and everything will fall into place."

Something that I might suggest would be to put links in the forum descriptions to the site of each former Brigade member, provided they have their own site, that is.

We can and we can also help spread the word to Revewtopia and Reviewers Unknown websites as one of the affiliates.

Nah, just kidding. This is happening because it's time to turn over the Bukkit to a new wave of admins.

The Bukkit Protectors still exist, and their duties will continue as ever.

However, heading these BPs and the forums will be Durga, Crow/Ravenhats, and SpacemanHardy.

It has been a pleasure, my friends, and it is the Brigade's sincerest hope that the Bukkit continues to live on, even in our absence.

Yep, it's official now. Hardy, Raven, and I will take care of Teh Bukkit in the Brigade's absence. I swear to use my power responsibly and keep the community strong.
