Death matches between two anime characters from different universes is something a lot of people want to see. So I wanted to make this a fun idea, and pit characters against each other to see who you would think would win. I then could make this a tournament between all the winners. I will try to be semi-balanced with my picks. Some suggestions of match ups would be fun since I am not all that creative.

We will start with females (since the cliche Light vs. Lelouch is too boring):

Balsa (Moribito)

Claire has this, no contest cause she is a friggin Monster (literally and figuratively (?)) and at the end of the day Balsa is just a human being a very capable one but just a normal person and Claire's attributes are far beyond normal.

As cool as Balsa is, she doesn't have the powers that Claire has. Claire wins.

Moved this to the anime forum, considering it's an anime-related topic and all.

And yeah, just like Doppel said, this isn't really a fair match up. As awesome as Balsa is, she's still only human. Even though she's an excellent tactician and MAY be able to outsmart Claire into a victory, Claire's superhuman speed and strength allows her to overpower Balsa in every other way.

Still need to watch Moribito (was actually thinking about blind-buying it), but yeah, if she's only human then I'm pretty sure Claire wins.

Balsa seems more agile and flexible in where she would be able to avoid Clair's blade, so i'm going with Balsa on this one as she would be able to strike a bit faster as well, even if it's not as strong Clair's strike.

But Clare has super speed. I doubt that Balsa would be able to dodge or hit Clare. Plus Clare can heal.

Considering I have not watched any of these two shows, I was just going off the videos. Well, there you have it folks unless someone who has seen both can supply a counter against it.
